| The Meaning of a Ricey |
Whenever a confused interested buyer approaches me with suggestions, I let them know to take into consideration the symbolization of colors and what you want the ricey to represent. When someone really put their mind to it, their ricey has a story or a representation of a part of their life. I love these type of riceys the most because I know they will be well cared for and loved for a very long time. Here are a few for examples:
Aurélie loves the sea and goldfishes! She wanted help on how to sum this all up in a ricey. In the end, we decided on the blue seashells for the blue sea, mini blue stars for the sky, and the red petals to represent the goldfishes that swims around. The grain of ricey says, "bloub bloub," the onomatopoeia in French for fish. Simply adorable!
This was a customized order for my good friend Sarah. The pink theme of the ricey symbolized self worth, love, and emotional healing. The blue shells at the bottom symbolized peace of mind. The grains of rice contains the name of her son, a bible verse, and quote of encouragement. The cross charm represents her faith in God.
